Kings Of Indigo K.O.I.
”Every Garment Made With A Conscience.”

A new denim from Amsterdam. Vintage American jeans, made in Tunisia and Italy. But with the Japanese eye for detail. They call they’re designs “modern authentics. Classic fit with modern vision

Launched a year ago at Bread & Butter fair by its founder Tony Tonnaer. Kings Of Indigo is like me the new kid on the block. But it’s already teaching all the oldtimers a thing or two about preserving the environment. Very importanted are the 3 R’s, recycle, re-use, repair.
The concept of K.O.I. is visualised in the logo by mixing American heritage (the cowboy) with the Japanese eye for detail (the koi) and caring for nature (the wave).

The collection mainly consist of the simple 5-pockets and basic fits. Like straight, tapered and slim.

Next to jeans, the plan for spring 2013 is to launch tops. They’ve done some research and developments, but the results are not yet ready to hit the market. However, leather accessories and repair kits are already available

This will certainly be a jeans I will be buying.

Check out they’re site, tumblr and facebook.

Cheers.
